Retrospective Change of Use

Objective:

To seek retrospective planning permission to change the use of agricultural buildings to B8 commercial storage use.

Proposal:

To prepare an application for the retrospective change of use on behalf of our client. There was significant local opposition over concerns of increased lorry traffic using local roads and the application ended up going to committee. After demonstrating that the change of use would not cause detrimental damage to local roads, this view was supported by the councillors at the committee meeting and the proposal was approved with majority backing.
