Prior Notification of an Agricultural Building

Objective:

To seek planning for an agricultural building for the storage of hay and machinery.

Proposal:

To prepare an application that met the criteria of permitted development for a steel portal framed agricultural building. The proposed building will provide dry and secure storage for hay, two thirds of which is sold: therefore, improving profitability. As well as providing dry and secure storage for farm machinery to avoid depreciation and any other adverse effects such as rusting or weathering of paintwork.

What the consultant Says

The client had unsuccessfully been able to achieve planning on their farm holding with the Council. We re-evaluated the scheme and achieved greenfield development for them for an agricultural building which helped to overcome Habitat Regulation issues.
