Conversion of agricultural building to stabling
Objective:
To achieve planning permission for the change of use of an agricultural building with associated elevation works for stabling
Proposal:
The client instructed us to prepare a full planning application to repurpose the building into a stable block, containing 14 individual stables, feed, and tack room for the purposes of livery use. Consistent with our clients riding school and livery business. The success of this application has allowed the client to expand their business and meet the demand of their customer who were previously on a waiting list.
Local Planning Authority:
Colchester Borough Council
What the consultant Says
The client had a former planning approval for a separate use and wanted to expand their existing commercial uses on site. We pre emptied all the issues that may arise which resulted in a seamless planning approval for the client.
