Class R
Objective:
The client’s objective was to change the use of an agricultural building to commercial use in accordance with Class R – General Permitted Development Rights.
Proposal:
To create an application for the change of use of an existing range of agricultural buildings to a small-scale commercial storage building.
Local Planning Authority:
Braintree District Council
What the consultant Says
The client wanted to diversify their existing farm incomes in light of reducing farm subsidy payments. We suggested a Class R route as being the most straight forward approach to achieving commercial approval for diversified income on their farm.
