Cattle Building

Objective:

To achieve planning for an agricultural building for the use of housing of cattle and straw.

Proposal:

The proposal is for an agricultural building for the housing of the farm’s pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle herd and for the dry undercover storage of straw. All of the cattle on the holding graze the land during the summer and autumn months, with hay harvested from the land as well as a winter feedstuff. The success of this application enables cattle to be herded and meet animal welfare criteria and create a suitable area for the breeding of cattle and the safe calving of cows and youngstock. As well as storage of ample straw to meet the winter housing feed and bedding needs of the cattle, rather than its current external storage.

Local Planning Authority:

Babergh District Council
