Amendment to siting of Agricultural Building
Objective:
The client’s aim was to achieve permission to re-site a pre-approved agricultural building to a more logical location.
Proposal:
The proposed agricultural building to be erected is for the use of temporary storage crops between harvest and main crop storage at shared farm facilities. Our client instructed us to submit an application to re-sit the building directly adjacent to an existing building, creating uniformity to the site as well as being less visible from the highway compared to the previous location. The success of the application also allows for improved access and more efficient manoeuvrability around the yard for farm machinery as well as safe loading and unloading of crops without encroachment of the built and developed area.
Local Planning Authority:
Tendring District Council
What the consultant Says
The client instructed us to assist with planning to modernise their farm storage facilities. We prepared a comprehensive landscaping scheme and designed the building to complement the existing layout.
