Agricultural lean-to

Objective:

The client’s aim was to achieve planning for a new agricultural building via permitted development.

Proposal:

To prepare an application for an enclosed agricultural building for straw storage, adjoining the existing grain and farm machinery storage building on site. The client wanted to be able to sell their straw at a more economically advantageous time. Therefore, it was crucial to have a dry environment for the straw to be stored.

What the consultant Says

The client has instructed us on previous occasions for agricultural buildings and on a former application we had run into difficulties with the Council regarding an agricultural justification of the building. We subsequently overcame these issues and resolved a successful approval for the client without delay.
