Agricultural Building

Objective:

To achieve planning for a general-purpose agricultural building for straw, hay and farm machinery storage via prior notification

Proposal:

The client instructed us to submit an application via permitted development for an agricultural building. A total of 2701t of straw and 138t of hay is produced by our clients holding which they did not have the ability to store in undercover, dry conditions. The success of this application allowed our client to store the produce, maintaining its quality to sell during winter months when demand, thus prices are at their highest.

What the consultant Says

This application was one of the first Prior Notification applications that we were instructed to complete outside of Essex. The application went very smoothly and there were no issues arising. The initial enquiry was taken 26th January and a decision was received on 9th March.
